Jede Stunde wird in einer ca .45 min langen Episode erzählt.Zwischen Staffel 6 und 7 entstand auch der Kinofilm "24 Redemption". Mit Staffel 8 im Jahr 2010 endete die Serie. Eigentlich! nIm Mai 2014 wird die Serie mit Staffel 9 fortgesetzt. Diese spielt in London und umfasst nur noch 12 Episoden.
